50 and Clueless

How is it that we all think and pridefully observe that we are in control of our lives. Always, OK how about most of the time, nahh let's just pause on sometimes.  This past week I have learned that as we age, not only do our faculties begin to fade in and out, but what we think we know and believe, isn't necessarily true. The first thing I learned to be true this past weekend, as I thought I was tip-toeing through my 50th day of birth, was that the whole experience of aging quietly would blissfully whisper by without even a blip on the radar........NOT!

Surprise!  Magic at 50!

The whole world knows your age now!

There's no hiding in the box!

  5. I turned 50 yesterday and didn't bat an eyelid. My 40's weren't kind to me, so I am welcoming 50 and the wisdom and confidence that comes with it.

  6. Happy Birthday. I found that my 50's were the best and most "freeing" in my life. Sixties - not as great, but I am making the most of them. Enjoy all these new moments, they are beautiful and satisfying and full of new adventures.

Glad I stopped by to view your blog.

  7. Hello, Ms. Tally! Jacqueline sent me over. You're just a young one, having turned 50. And life for you is becoming a "moving experience." Good for you.

Blessings and Bear hugs, in you Ms-adventures. Wait; perhaps I should re-phrase that to "world adventures." Yes. That seems better.
